Even though the Celeritas is a thrill to type and game on it does come with some severe drawbacks. The biggest flaw of the Celeritas is the price €120 is just too high an asking price for the average user, even though it is incredibly comfortable. For the avid gamer with money to spare this is a good upgrade, but mainly due to the fact that it is more comfortable to use than a normal keyboard. The added performance features might mean a lot to some but the average gamer might not feel the difference at all.
In some FPS games the RTR-speed might give your response time a little tweak but do not expect miracles.
Just because it is labeled as a gaming keyboard does not mean that it is not good for typing as well. The Cherry MX Brown keys just feel great for normal typing tasks. Anyone who writes a lot should definitely give a mechanical keyboard a try.
The Zowie Celeritas is a remarkably sturdy keyboard if you look beyond the printed lettering on the keys. The design is rock solid and will last a very long time.
