Acer Intros T230H 23-inch Multi-Touch Capable Monitor
Acer today introduced the T23H LCD monitor with multi-touch touchscreen capabilities. With a screen area of 23 inches, the monitor provides a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, with a contrast ratio of 80,000:1, maximum brightness of 300 cd/m², and 2 ms response time. The panel provides a viewing angle of 160/160 degrees. It embeds a 1.5 W stereo speaker set. Its input connectivity options include DVI and HDMI.

i expected this to come out on smaller screens first
But if I do that with my existing TFT, as I tilt, the view quality decreases quite quickly, and the central tilt point means that the bottom of the screen is about 20cm off the table... meaning I STILL have to adopt a non-ergonomic head/shoulder position.
I remember back in the 70's they use to "bury" VDU screens at an angle in the desk... what happened to THOSE ergonomic rules?
and lemonadesoda, you make a good point, I am forever looking for a better way to set up my multi monitor setup, I think your suggestion has a lot of merit for a lot of users, not all of course.
EDIT: Just looked it up and you are correct. So it seems that a laptop screen is probably pretty good then. I'll be damned.
