The pre-orders they had running yesterday ranged from £470-£490. The people that have that cash and logged a pre-order must be laughing now.

I see they've pulled that Powercolor one. Must have been an error. You can pre-order the XFX ones for a not-quite-as-badly-butt-raping £500. Which still makes them cheaper than two 5870s.

I smell the oily scent of lack-of-competition and lack-of-product as being the reason for these prices.

Waiting waiting waiting for March-April-May when Nvidia finally get theirs out. And then another month or so for the price-drops.

Man it would suck if you had to build a new system right now.
