NVIDIA GeForce 195.62 Beta Drivers Released

NVIDIA released a beta version of its GeForce driver suite. Version 195.62 beta provides driver support for GeForce 6 series, 7 series, 8 series, 100 and 200 series GPUs, along with support for the NVIDIA ION chipset. This release also bundles PhysX version 9.09.0814 system software. Important changes include:
  • Added GPU-acceleration for smoother online HD videos with the new Adobe Flash 10.1 beta.
  • Added support for GeForce GT 240.
  • Added support for OpenCL 1.0 (Open Computing Language) for all GeForce 8-series and later GPUs.
  • Added support for CUDA Toolkit 3.0 features and performance enhancements.
  • Added SLI and multi-GPU support for many top new gaming titles including Borderlands, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, FIFA Soccer 10, and more.
Be cautioned, these are beta drivers, the use of which is not covered by product warranties.

195.62.

note that there is a mistake in the download link in Nvidia's beta download page of the beta driver 195.62 it says 195.55 when you download.

these are the correct download link:

FS... 195.55 is the WHQL not the beta.
Thanks for the link anyway, need to find out if they are good first.

Hope this will turn out to be WHQL too. 195.55 has NFS:Shift framerate boost for my card and this adds even more bug fixes, but haven't used a beta driver in ages. Just week to go for Shift patch might have to give them ago then.

It amazes me that the 9800M series laptop video cards are still at 186.81's! No updates since August 27th of this year.

probably it's pretty darn tricky to detect, atm. No clear query and seems all GPU manufacturers ahs their stuff in different locations. :laugh:

I haven't tested these yet with my 9800gt, but is it just me or does the drivers that shipped with the card work better then anything else?

well 191.07 seems the best for my 9800gt SLI setup
