Because of Ridgeback's success, we wanted to offer the cooling technology with a sharp new look, and to give customers new aesthetic options. Case modders and system builders now have a striking new look available to them when using Ridgeback. Redline has always been Mushkin's premier memory line, and we're happy to add Ridgeback to its mix. I know a lot of people piss'n'moan about aesthetics meaning dick but to some people they do. I'd much rather purchase RAM that has a black (or dark) PCB as opposed to gaybo generic green.

These stick perform fantastic.
I've got my G. Skill Trident kit running at 6-7-6-16 at 1654MHz and I love these timings and speeds. And these sticks would look great on my Asus Rampage III Gene mobo.
This memory kit isn't very tall. The PCB they use is shorter than say what Corsair and some other companies use. So the heatspreaders don't stand as high.
