MSI Announces MSI NVIDIA Trophy

MSI Computers and NVIDIA have teamed up to create the MSI NVIDIA Trophy, a professional League of Legends tournament. MSI and NVIDIA will bring the world's best League of Legends teams to battle it out in an epic LAN tournament at Gamers Assembly during 7-9th April, 2012.

The world's elite gamers will converge on Poitiers, France. Up to 8 of the best professional teams will receive a direct invitation and 8 more teams will qualify through a series of online tournaments held later this month on the MSI Gaming Portal. There will be a total of four online qualifiers where the top two teams will advance to the Grand Final at Gamers Assembly.

Tournaments like the MSI NVIDIA trophy are the best proof that PC gaming is a huge and growing market in Europe."Teams will be battling it out for top prize of €4,000 plus hardware prizes provided by MSI and NVIDIA. Additionally, the winning teams from each qualifier will receive $500 as well as their registration fee to Gamers Assembly paid in full. MSI NVIDIA Trophy features over 12,000€ of cash and prizes!

Grand Final Prizes:
1st place: 4,000€ plus 5 MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti graphics cards
2nd place: 2,500€ plus 5 Z68A-GD55 (G3) motherboards
3rd place: 1,500€
