Arctic Readies Bluetooth Variant of P402 Headset
Arctic is working on a wireless, Bluetooth-equipped variant of its P402 performance around-the-ear headset. With Bluetooth connectivity, the company is looking to target wireless devices such as Surface, iPad, the various Android tablets, and of course, the smartphone market. The wireless P402 will retain the shape and specifications of the original wired one, and with likely use of rechargeable NiMH battery, could keep its weight under 150 g (the wired P402 weighs 130 g including its cord and jack). The headphone component of the P402 features 101 dB sensitivity, 32 ohm impedance, while the microphone is -42 dB +/- 5 dB sensitive.
