NVIDIA Metro: Last Light Offer Goes Live

NVIDIA is giving away free copies of the upcoming survival horror FPS Metro: Last Light, with select performance-thru-extreme segment GeForce GTX graphics cards. These include the GeForce GTX 660, GTX 660 Ti, GTX 670, GTX 680, GTX 690, and GTX TITAN. The offer is valid on participating NVIDIA add-in card partners, and is valid only on qualifying graphics cards purchased on or after today (Apr 16, 2013). Partners will be including coupons either inside the product package, or with the retailer invoice, which can be redeemed on Steam to count as a pre-order. At some point as the game's May 14 launch date approaches, you should be able to pre-load the game, and begin playing once it's released.

Sucks. I had to replace my SLI GTX470s as one was artifacting, and I can't get this offer!

Hmmm. Does this mean AMD won't be bundling this game with their cards now?

Does this still include the free-2-play currency?

And they really should have pulled an AMD and given out the game to recent purchases too.

Last Light was a TWIMTBP game for a while, though. Once it was announced that Physx was going to be in it, 4A Games had pretty much jumped in bed with Nvidia. Pity, because Metro 2033 really showed up Nvidia more than once. I guess its only fair, then, that AMD has taken up all the good franchises ^_^

I was just about to guy a 660 on Friday, but decided to get 2 free games and save money with the 7850. Then saw I get ANOTHER free game and now see nVidia wouldn't have still given me one. I think I made a good choice :)

GTX 660 and up? ironically, the game recommends GTX 660 Ti and up for optimum performance hehe.

I missed out on a free game by a few days. Ordered my GTX 660 last week for my Linux machine. Maybe I'll send an email to the guys I bought it off, I spent my tax return at their store so maybe I can snag a freebie.

This GTX 660 that I have may not be the most powerful card around, but it sure is snappy when I dual boot.
