NVIDIA Rolls Out GeForce 327.23 WHQL Drivers

NVIDIA rolled out the latest GeForce 327.23 WHQL software, which adds drivers and related system software for NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards. It improves game-specific performance for a a handful games (compared to GeForce 320.49), including Up to 15% in Dirt: Showdown on GTX 770, up to 19% in Dirt: Showdown on GTX 770 SLI, up to 11% in F1 2012 on GTX 770 SLI, and up to 6% in Tomb Raider, and up to 6% in Tomb Raider on GTX 770. NVIDIA also talked about performance improvements "across the board," without mentioning specifics in the release notes. The driver updates PhysX system software version to 9.13.0725.

As long as it doesn't blow up my card, like those other drivers recently I'll be happy.

I wonder if these will enable PCI-E 3.0 automatically on X79 systems with an Ivy Bridge-E chip.

Not, yet..

That will be in next beta (soon) and only for 780GTX/Titan atm.

was getting ~40fps maxed, now up to around 60.

Nvidia Surround issues

The last drivers would full screen a program to the monitor that it was on, these are full screening to all three monitors....

I wish Nvidia would put all the system icons on the middle screen and not to the far left screen when you go from 1 screen to 3.

Other than those issues, rock solid.

I installed these drivers yesterday and they seem to be okay for playing TES: Skyrim. I haven't tried them with other games, but so far it seems to be okay.

What's the difference between this and the one you download from Nvidia's site? Apart from the file size difference

Okay so I played a Little Tomb Raider with this and I have to say there's a big difference. back then I used to get 20-35 fps around everywhere and with this I get 30-50 fps.

Are you downloading it in a different language, perhaps? Remember, there's more than one version of English for example and they're different sized files.

Just the eng download. I was surprised that the filesize here is around 180 mb while on the nvidia site its around 250 (or 230mb).
