Nintendo reports very high demand for the Wii
Nintendo has reported a very high amount of retailer and customer pre-orders, and is planning accordingly. They have decided to ship over 4 million consoles, with most of them headed for the United States. Nintendo will also have factories working around the clock to keep a steady supply of the Nintendo Wii. Reggie Fils-Aime, head of Nintendo of America is telling consumers to keep buying. "Because of demand, we're urging shoppers not to get complacent. The level of demand we're seeing goes beyond the ordinary." The console is going to be released on November 19th in the United States for $250.

Gee thats a big list from NES, SNES, N64, Sega, Sega CD, TG-16-TG-16 CD.
And one more thing, is it REALLY that much to ask for more than ONE mario per console. I mean cmon, that is why I buy Nintendo consoles.
First off they are targetting kids of all ages.
Since most kids dont have a lot of money, they will prob. buy this one since it is the cheapest and looks "cool" to a kid.
Esp. with the holiday season coming up and it being the cheapest console, they will def. get a lot of sales.
With the way Nintendo conducts business, they show why they have been around sooooo long.
