Sapphire Unveils First Factory-Overclocked R9 295X2

Sapphire unveiled the industry's first factory-overclocked Radeon R9 295X2 graphics card. The R9 295X2 OC from Sapphire sticks to AMD reference design, and ships in the metal suitcase, much like its base model; but comes with factory-overclocked speeds of 1030 MHz core (vs. 1018 MHz reference), and 5.20 GHz memory (vs. 5.00 GHz reference). The rest of its feature-set is identical to that of its reference-design product. The company didn't reveal pricing. The R9 295X2 is a dual-GPU card with a pair of 28 nm "Hawaii" GPUs, with 2,816 stream processors, 176 TMUs, 64 ROPs, and 512-bit wide memory interfaces, each; and each holding 4 GB of memory, totaling 8 GB on the card.

my rig.It is unreasonable to pay for CF on 1 card 1500€ or buy separately 2 card for 1100€. for 300 € you can geth you can get a much better liquid cooling system! and the existing cooling system is charged in the price ,when it would subtract the price ( 2 x wpoechember collers) liquid cooling CF can be significantly better than that offered not to mention one slot occupied volume by coper block can enabled in mini PC very capable gaming PC.! Radiator 2 x 140 x 55 = € 90 = € 70 pump, block = 150 € reservoir = 30 €, 2 fens = 25 € tubeng and rest = 10 € max Best Liquid cooleng . ill sey 500$ or € in europa is too much for suitcase ! and 12 Hz mor clockeng is not worth to mention ! not to mention that some producers are deemed too expensive and give only a paperboard box with a nice label .:shadedshu:

Why didnt they upgrade the radiator to a 360 one? i doubt a 120 can handle that beastly OC.

I suggest you don't look too hard to into professional range of cards then, the prices of some of their passively cooled cards will have you crying into your milk.

If you are so rich send me two! I do not know who is so stupid that supports this policy price! I'm not talking about the preformance but the facts. The production is much lower and Development has already two generations ahead only of mass production lags behind!

If I remember correctly, Sapphire also had a HD5970 which had a enormous 10MHz overclock with GPU's. :D

Asus should sue Sapphire for using their patented 13 MHz (12 in this case) overclock maneuver.
Edit: I see I am not the only troll in this thread. :toast:

bumping of its core clock only with 12MHz then selling it with "overclocked" label with (surely) premium price. Seriously sapphire?
erockerProfessional gaming card?
LOL.
he's kinda rejecting all the fact (delusion?) about gforce brand.

Context gentlemen, at least read what I'm quoting first.

SIGSEGV, you missed the key "Titan" part of that branding, that offers certain differences from their purely gaming orientated alternatives which you have apparently missed.

For the record fella, in terms of rejecting facts and being delusional:

OT anyway:

Shite overclock.
