AMD Rolls Out Catalyst 14.7 RC
AMD rolled out version 14.7 RC (beta) of its Catalyst software suite. With this version, AMD discontinues support for Windows 8 (WDDM 1.2), and expects you to upgrade to Windows 8.1 (WDDM 1.3) for free, to continue receiving driver support. Older versions of Windows, namely Windows Vista and Windows 7, are unaffected. Catalyst 14.7 RC adds all the improvements of 14.6 RC, with added CrossFire performance for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, improved CrossFire scaling at Ultra HD resolution for Assassins Creed IV. The driver also comes with a workaround for an issue faced by users of AOC U2868PQU display, who notice flickering on Radeon GPUs. In addition to the workaround, AMD recommends that you apply the latest firmware for your displays.

I think somebody might be taking something a little too seriously.
Regardless of the fact that it's a popular game and its rendered with the frostbyte 3 engine
(In case you're all that gullible, I am aware that Garden Warfare exists, unfortunately)
But anyway cool ill have to download it today when I get off work!
Why do people dislike a CFX profile? I mean yea the game may not be that demanding, however in the past people complained about slow release of CFX profiles and now were complaining about to many??? I mean any profile is always helpful.
After all, I don't even know what that game is and I guess after reading these feedbacks to it, I won't even try it. :)
do not make it sound like it's the end of the line for windows 8
drivers working fine for me.
there have been bugs before where the new version wasnt being written, there have been betas where the new version wasnt put in on purpose, the catalyst version is completely useless & no software should use it alone
nvidia is the same, how can both of them be using a plain text string that anyone can change?
