Most likely a dumb question, but how is Gainward's reputation? I'm familiar only with Asus, EVGA, and Gigabyte GPU cards. I own an Asus GTX 780Ti DCU2 and I'm mostly waiting for their 980Ti DCU3 to be released.

They have a good reputation, I would put them up there as being one of the top companies and many people on here buy from them.

I like this card, but I do not get the whole "Phoenix Golden Sample" part of the card. I would believe it to have a Gold color scheme instead!

They used to be a big name a couple years ago. They use reference PCB designs and their coolers are OK. They are by no means bad but they aren't amazing either.
