EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Kingpin Edition Launched
The EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti K|NGP|N graphics card is designed for overclocking perfection. With a 14+3 power phase design, this new digitally controlled VRM can deliver up to 600A of current, all delivered through 3 power inputs. A pre-binned GPU, ACX 2.0+, and the ability to go single slot with the included single slot bracket, makes this one of the most versatile graphics cards on the planet. You can get a card customized for you with the Ultimate OC Project.
With this new card EVGA is also introducing a brand new way to purchase, by allowing you to select the best card to suit your needs. For the first time ever, EVGA is introducing a way to select your approximate GPU ASIC (approximate OC performance) Quality before purchasing. Every single piece of silicon, whether it be a CPU or GPU, varies when it comes to maximum overclocking. On GPU's, ASIC quality is one way to determine potential overclock performance. Please note this ASIC Quality DOES NOT guarantee any specific overclock performance, it is merely a guide. The higher the ASIC Quality, the higher the potential overclock performance and the rarer the GPU. Of course, this can and will vary.Built for Overclocking

seriously ?
$200 for 8% ASIC percentage? Now thats an expensive bottle of snake oil.
Fwiw, I figure the higher asic cards 'should' operate at lower voltages so on air or water, I might have some leeway.
And looking at how much binning they are doing the normal classified might actually end up with some crappy chips without much headroom
But dumbed down chips and cut RAM is not what im out for.
If Fury X would have had 8gb ram i would have taken 4. As it is im going to get only 2.

and the 980 Ti overclocks a good bit better than the Fury X. 26% vs 10% according to the tests done here

Love these chips in general, would not mind a trio of the classifieds myself (Or lightning's depending).
Shamelessly stolen from another forum but it made me giggle.
Also, hi everyone. This is my first post on TPU in 3 years or so.
sold out in seconds
Couldn't even get to the cart in time for any asic value....
If i start seeing these on ebay soon I'll be visiting people with hammers.
