NVIDIA Unveils GeForce 361.75 WHQL Game Ready Drivers

Following a month without any driver releases (the last one being dated December 21), NVIDIA released its latest GeForce drivers. Version 361.75 WHQL drivers are "Game Ready" for Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Tom Clancy's The Division (beta). This includes performance optimization, SLI profiles, and GeForce Experience optimal settings. The drivers also come with early (beta) support for GeForce GTX GPUs installed in external graphics solutions over the Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gb/s) interface. Grab them from the links below.

Excellent job NVIDIA. NOT. First it failed 3 times through NVIDIA Experience, then it entirely fucked up all the drivers so that Windows 10 installed it's shitty driver from July 2015. Then I had to manually remove the new old driver and again install this pile of crap just to be greeted with this bullshit. NVIDIA, are you fucking kidding me?

"Eject GTX 980". WHY!? WHY NVIDIA!? I don't want to have an option to eject god damn ONLY and DEDICATED graphic card in my system. Not only I'll have to watch this god damn icon down there the entire time, I'll by mistake eject ONLY graphic card when I'll want to eject god damn USB drive and lose image. This is just lazy and stupid.

Don't worry about that ejecting a GPU on a PCI-e channel will just refresh the driver it wont do anything else.

That's a hilarious option :p
However mine seemed to install just fine, but my card is not a Maxwell card unfortunately so I cannot test if that's the reason.

It's the stupid Thunderbolt feature. Why is it active if I'm NOT using the damn thing? So dumb.

So I guess they completely backed down from forcing Geforce Experience for driver updates?

Looks like it and there's been no official announcements afaik. I think the outcry must have been quite substantial. I certainly didn't want it for one.

It seems this junk is fucking up my first front USB port as well. I stick an USB drive in it, it detects it and disconnects it 5 seconds later. This was NEVER happening before this driver update. NVIDIA, what the fuck!?

How do you get the nvidia control panel in english? My OS is in danish, but the danish translation is so weird and strange. When I Had my old gtx 750, I used 322.xx it was in english.
But now I got a gtx 970 and my current 359.06 is not in english. I downloaded the one called "English US" But the file still downloaded international -.-

Seems like the last couple driver releases were quietly followed up with hot fixes that I only caught due to threads on [H] and AnandTech ... do we need to wait for the -hf driver again?

GPU hot swap, what a nice feature. "Need a FPS quick boost, time to swap this puny 970 with dual 980Ti" :D

On topic, only found the "eject" issue under Windows 10, no problem at all with my Windows 7.

There's no need to eject usb drives since windows 7 and beyond (maybe it was xp sp2, i forget). delayed writes are disabled on removable drives.
