Avexir Unveils the M100 Series SSD

Avexir unveiled the M100 series SSD. Like its colorful memory modules, the M100 features a futuristic product design, and RGB LED lighting for its logo. The 7 mm-thick 2.5-inch drive features a SATA 6 Gb/s interface on one-end, and a USB 3.0 type-C interface on the other. In its USB mode, the drive can make do with a single cable for both power and host connectivity, and can be used as an external drive (a rubber cover for the SATA interface is included. The company didn't put out performance numbers.

It's about time SSD's started to get the cosmetic treatment, couple of years ago when I was building my current rig it was just about impossible to buy an SSD that matched the rest of my build and those that did were always either the wrong capacity or a price I wasn't willing to pay.

So many cases now have places where SSD's are on show that matching them to the rest of the build is an important purchasing factor.
