AMD Radeon RX 470 and RX 460 Official Specifications Leaked

The official specifications of two the two upcoming mainstream graphics cards by AMD, the Radeon RX 470, and the Radeon RX 460, were leaked to the web as slides from the company's official press presentation ahead of their early-August product launches. The RX 470 is based on the same "Ellesmere" Polaris10 silicon as the RX 480. It features 2,048 stream processors across 32 GCN compute units; 128 TMUs, 32 ROPs, and 4 GB of memory across a 256-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface.

The RX 470 features clock speeds of 926 MHz core, 1206 MHz boost, and 6.6 Gbps memory, working out to 211 GB/s memory bandwidth. The RX 460, on the other hand, is based on the "Baffin" Polaris11 silicon, featuring 896 stream processors, 48 TMUs, 16 ROPs, and 4 GB of memory across a 128-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface. Its core is clocked at 1090 MHz, with 1200 MHz boost, and 7 Gbps memory, working out to 112 GB/s memory bandwidth. The RX 470 draws power from a single 6-pin PCIe power connector as its TDP is rated at 120W; the RX 460 relies entirely on the PCIe slot for its power, as its TDP is rated at <75W. The RX 470 will be available from 4th August, 2016; with the RX 460 following on 8th August.

Captain_TomI don't get why anyone is questioning the resolution: it is obviously 1080p! They wouldn't use any other resolution but the standard to compare things.
LOL, ok. You are way to trusting of PR machines.

Maybe 1080p medium setting... All GTA V benchmark were made with very high setting, we don't know how the game behave in high.

The RX 460 has 2.2 teraflops, the R9 270x 2.69 TFLOPS, the R7 370 2 teraflops. In some games, the R7 370 even outperformed the R9 270x. The 270/370 can manage 43 fps in GTA V very high, 2xmsaa.

And with the memory compression thing , this little gpu might be more capable than what most ppl think it will be.

Uhm, I thought every one should know them by now. It's 1080p in both(RX 460 1080p High settings, RX 470 variable presets high to ultra). See AMD Radeon RX 470 & RX 460 Announcement Press Deck on Anandtech.

Just wondering about gp107, if it's with one GPC, thus 640 cuda cores. It will eat RX 460 alive(Even with conservative 1.8GHz core clock it would make 2*1.8*640~2.3TFlops). Even with full polaris might have hard time competing with gp107(with 16CUs@1.2GHz 2*1024*1.2~2.5TFlops).

Edit: AMD announced them yesterday, so they are official now:

ShurikNAcording to TPU review 750ti is 13% faster on average than a 260X. From these slides 460 is about 25% faster than 260X. Therefore, this new 75W card should perform at least 10% faster.
10% is probably a good guess. I saw somewhere else that AMD showed it 20% better than a 960m (same as 750 Ti) in one game. But it will be a lot slower than the GTX 950 75w variants. Which means that with a small discount the Maxwell cards will be competitive.

It isn't the full chip though. AMD will come out with a better Polaris 11 with more stream processors at some point.
