BenQ Announces the ZOWIE XL2540 e-Sports Gaming Monitor

BenQ announces the new ZOWIE XL2540 monitor, providing additional options for the fulfillment of individual gaming experience. From its inception, ZOWIE has been dedicated to the development of e-Sports equipment to enable competitive gamers to play to the best of their abilities.

As the latest addition to the XL series for PC e-Sports, XL2540 introduces increased smoothness in-game and its native 240Hz refresh rate can be fully activated to deliver different levels of gameplay experience when the computer generates over 240 frames per second (fps). And as such, people looking for the monitor should make sure their PC performance is up to par.
The XL2540 will be available for experience at DreamHack Winter at the ZOWIE booth during Nov. 24~26 at B04:05. As numbers and specs do not tell the whole story, join us for a first-hand experience with the new monitor to see the difference for yourself.

deuThe level of information you brain manage to interpret is higher on a 144 hz monitor than on a 60hz screen when your view/aim flies around ALL the time causing drastic changes in what is viewed onscreen. With 144hz you see details WAY better on the move than with 60 / 65 hz. I've played on both 60hz/75 hz/159hz/120Hz and 144 hz. Anti ghosting and ms matters too but raw hz counts in brute force.
Sorry mate, but that's the biggest pile of crap I've read this year. Again, you are ridiculously confusing Frames-per-second with Refresh Rates.
Is mind blowing :))))))))))

That is sad. Ill try to do this more simple. Your eye will be less confused with a consistent direction without jumps (60 hz = jumps; 144hz = smaller jumps) This enables you keep the overview easier. which enables you to easier keep track of objects and differences in the image. Ill help you to find some research papers on the matter if you want after the 15th. fps is not hz, but the limit is the physical limit is the hz you know that.
