EK Water Blocks Intros Full-coverage Block for EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW3

EK Water Blocks, the Slovenia-based premium computer liquid cooling gear manufacturer, is releasing the long awaited EK-FC1080 GTX Ti FTW3 water blocks that are compatible with EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 based graphics cards. This kind of efficient cooling will allow your high-end graphics card to reach higher boost clocks, thus providing more performance during gaming or other GPU intense tasks.

This water block directly cools the GPU, RAM as well as VRM (voltage regulation module) as water flows directly over these critical areas, thus allowing the graphics card and it's VRM to remain stable under full load and high overclocks. EK-FC1080 GTX Ti FTW3 water block features a central inlet split-flow cooling engine design for best possible cooling performance, which also works flawlessly with reversed water flow without adversely affecting the cooling performance. Moreover, such design offers great hydraulic performance allowing this product to be used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps.
The base of the block is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of a high-quality acrylic material or POM Acetal material (depending on the variant). The top material does not affect the block performance in any way. The acrylic (Plexi) top also features two pre-drilled slots for 3mm LED diodes. This water block also features the recently introduced aesthetic terminal cover which is designed to reveal the graphics card model.

These water blocks are made in Slovenia, Europe and are available for pre-order through EK Webshop and Partner Reseller Network. All pre-orders will start shipping next Tuesday, 27th of June, 2017! In the table below you can see manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) with VAT included.
  • EK-FC1080 GTX Ti FTW3 - Nickel: 122.95€

Isn't the backplate.. redundant? Like, more weight on your PCB for nothing?

The total weight of a graphics card with a full block and back plate will still be much less than a traditional air cooled model. Most people like a back plate for the refined looks. Sometimes they come with thermal pads to cool components on the card but that's up to the manufacturer.
