Manli Adds a GeForce GTX 1080 Graphics Card to Its Portfolio

It has been a while since the launch of NVIDIA's GTX 1080 (manli had even come out of the gate with a Founders Edition version of this SKU), but the company has now added another option to its lineup. The M-NGTX1080/5RGHDPPP-BL doesn't do much to differentiate itself from what's already in the market, though.

The new Manli card sports a blower-style cooler, reference GTX 1080 specs, a core base clock of 1607MHz, a core boost clock of 1733MHz and 8GB of GDDR5X memory (10 GHz). Connectivity-wise, we're treated to 1x dual-link DVI-D, 1x HDMI 2.0b and 3x DisplayPort 1.4 output ports. The card is backed by a two year warranty, and should hit retail for $595.

The 1080 has been out since May 2016, so one with a crappy cooler is such an uninteresting release now.

Why do I always see these super late and pointless Manli releases? Weird stuff. This is just an FE with extra ugly shroud...

Is that some year old news or what? Current nvidia's mrsp for gtx 1080 should be $499. No one in right mind would pay almost $600 for blower type gtx1080.

I absolutely hate the stickers on fans. They are always off center and they wobble around, look ugly and make no service to the fan...

Why bloody no one does laser etching on them? It would ALWAYS be spot on. Considering how widely this is used and how there is no waste, I think it's more economical than crappy stickers.

People have been making the same "for manly men" joke about Manli's name since the 90s. I'm wondering if they embrace it at this point or just ignore it.

They should drop the DVI nonsense on blower cards. It only obstructs the airflow...

Actually these coolers rely on producing a little bit of pressure inside the shroud. Also you can see a little opening just before the I/O panel , it's fine no need to remove the DVI connection.

I used to think that too. But according to the TPU results, the removal of the DVI port didn't change a thing for the GTX 1080 Ti in comparison with the Titan X Pascal (which has similar power and includes dvi). Nvidia's claim of better cooling didn't turn out to be real.

I guess they bought some ancient stock or something and are going to try to make money on it :D

Really? The one thing you find to complain about is the sticker you can easily pull off of the thing -_-
