Specially designed air vents dampen noise while providing excellent air permeability to ensure the best possible cooling performance at whisper-quiet operation. The new technical design delivers even better results in noise reduction, which makes these air vents the most advanced in the be quiet! case product family. The chassis frame is completely made out of metal, minimizing the transfer of noise-inducing vibrations. Its silent operation is supported by 10mm thick sound-insulating foam on the panels and topped off with two decoupled Pure Wings 2 fans, decoupled HDD bays and a three-step fan controller for 3-pin fans.

Easy installation and excellent usability
Silent Base 601 provides generous space for high-end components, such as water cooling and large graphics cards. The side panels are easily removed with the push of a button for fast and efficient hardware installation, while the PSU shroud provides a neatly structured interior layout and space for a dual HDD cage. Another single HDD cage comes preinstalled in the main chamber, with two additional mounting slots for SSDs behind the motherboard tray. Out of the box, Silent Base 601 supports up to three 3.5" or six 2.5" drives. PSU installation is greatly simplified by using a bracket inserted from the rear of the case, while the dust filters located at the bottom and front of the chassis are easily removable from the front. A mounting frame at the top of the case conveniently slides out to the side, simplifying the installation of 120mm, 240mm or 360mm radiators, or to accommodate up to three 120mm or 140mm fans.

The standard version of Silent Base 601 features a steel left-side panel with 10 mm thick dampening foam to please silence enthusiasts. Users focused more on aesthetics can opt for a windowed side panel with tinted and tempered glass, enhancing the case's elegant look and granting system builders an unobstructed view inside their PC. The windowed version also includes HDD slot covers for any slots not used for drive installation, conveniently hiding cable routing from the motherboard to the back of its tray. These covers can be adjusted to two different heights to fit different cable gauges or to completely cover the opening for a clean interior.
