NZXT Releases H500 Vault Boy from its Shelter

NZXT and Bethesda Softworks , a ZeniMax Media company, team up again to bring you the fourth entry into NZXT's CRFT series of limited edition licensed gaming gear. Introducing the H500 Vault Boy PC gaming case and optional all-metal cover for the NZXT N7 Z390 motherboard based on the Fallout universe's iconic Vault-Tec mascot. With the H500 Vault Boy, it is even easier to show your Fallout fandom while you and your build weather the apocalypse in the confines of your gaming shelter.

"For our second Fallout entry for CRFT, it was an easy choice to have Vault Boy be the focus," says Johnny Hou, founder, and CEO of NZXT. "He is easily one of gaming's most respected icons and synonymous with the beloved Fallout franchise. This is why it was important we created a case worthy of his legacy and of the hard-earned caps of this dedicated community."
Due to post-apocalyptic production difficulties, only 1,000 pieces of the H500 Vault Boy and 400 pieces of the Vault Boy N7 Z390 Cover will be produced. Each H500 Vault Boy comes with a unique-numbered limited edition plaque and special edition Fallout-themed puck.

Soooo, it's blue & yellow & has some silly logos & a puck....besides these, can someone please explain EXACTLY how is this case any different that the other 9,114,693+ rectangular boxen out there already ??????

Well, at least they kept the prices somewhat reasonable, at least we can give 'em credit for that :)

Negative pressure setup, check H500 reviews out there.

I guess Zenimax has to make profit somewhere, considering the F76 flop.

Double the cost of regular H500 doesn't sound THAT reasonable.

Such a big case and not a single outside bay for an optical drive which I think is a very good thing. I'm all for tech moving past obsolete legacy tech. I'm not for including legacy tech just for the sake of including it.

I have the H500i, heat is absolutely fine for both AIO and Air cooling, the slightly angled fan/rad mount at the front adds a little extra airflow considering the solid front.

It's April and I'm pretty sure that this year's ugliest case is here already.

It's as ugly as the graphics from Bethesda In-House games.

10/10 for matching that up.

I've used NZXT source cases before (340 and 530). Great looking, horrible heat management. If you run a 200W video card and an overclocked i7 3930k the whole rig will get pretty hot. After pulling off the front cover temps dropped dramatically. NZXT should at least offer an optional mesh front cover.

I think the redesign in the newer cases improves on previous cooling issues from my experience

Designed for 5 year old boys, do they make a pink one with Barbie on the side for girls too?
