Have Thermaltake finally stopped making garbage aluminium radiators that cause galvanic corrosion with the copper waterblock(s)?

This would appear to be something from Thermaltake I don't immediately have to dismiss as stupid, short-sighted, low-quality junk (though I'll wait for a review to confirm they haven't ruined the kit by cheaping out on something else critical instead).

1. Don't you love how every on eof these starts as ...

"[Insert brand name here], ... the leading brand in ... [insert any product line here]

In answer to your question ... hardly anyone has. To offset aluminum's thermal perfomace, most vendors have resorted to extreme speed fans. They should come witjh 30 foot KB, Mouse and Monitor cables so you could put POC in another roon.

And in addition, almost no one is including a pump capable of the generally accepted minimum flow rate of 1.0 gpm. That's why it's just about impossible to find an 240 mm AIO that .... a) beats a $45 air cooler thermally ... b) matches that air cooler in sound and c) costs less than $125

Swiftech and EK have copper rads that do the job thermally but not acoustically with copper rads and pumps > 1.0 gpm. EL also has aluminum block / aluminum rad AIOs that avid the galvanic problem. Alphacool has an all copper line but I don't think the pump can do 1.0 gpm.

If ya want an affordable AIO that is all copper, all I can recommend is the Swiftech units, ... reasonably affordable, all copper, built in reservoir, RGB, you can chnage fluid, custom loop quality pump, you can expand by adding more blocks and rads. For what EK charges you can build a custom loop.

Thanks for the tips but I'm out. I did custom water and also a water-cooled Peltier cooler back when cases were beige, when tubing was Tygon-branded laboratory kit, and when Swifcech was in its infancy. Even though nothing was standardized back then, it was all much higher quality than the Chinese-produced crap that qualifies for the title of 'PC Watercooling' these days!

FWIW I build near-silent air-cooled stuff for the most part and with XFR+ and undervolting being almost or equally as effective as overclocking, the era of insane voltage increases and vast cooling potential is almost gone, IMO.
