G.Skill Releases 64GB (8GBx8) Memory Kits in DDR4-4300 CL19 & DDR4-4000 CL16

G.SKILL International Enterprise Co., Ltd., the world's leading manufacturer of extreme performance memory and gaming peripherals, is excited to announce high-frequency, high-capacity memory kit specifications to the G.SKILL Trident Z Royal series at DDR4-4300 MHz CL19-19-19-39 and DDR4-4000 MHz CL16-18-18-38, both in kit capacity of 64 GB (8x 8 GB) and 32 GB (4x8GB). Once again, these extraordinary G.SKILL Trident Z Royal memory kits are built with high performance Samsung B-die components.

As an excellent choice for tasks that require both high-capacity and extreme speed memory, the high-performance DDR4-4300 MHz CL19-19-19-39 64 GB (8x 8 GB) is shown in the stress test screenshot below, validated on the latest ASUS ROG Rampage VI Extreme Encore motherboard and the Intel Core i9-9820X processor. This is the perfect memory solution for building an all-powerful workstation for various content creation workloads, including 3D rendering and multimedia editing.
Additionally, a low latency 64 GB (8x 8 GB) memory kit at DDR4-4000 MHz CL16-18-18-38 is shown in a similar stress test run in the screenshot below, also validated on the ASUS ROG Rampage VI Extreme Encore motherboard and the Intel Core i9-9820X processor. Under this memory specification and test system, the memory read bandwidth on AIDA64 is shown to surpass a speed of 101 GB/s in quad-channel memory mode.

These extreme performance RGB memory specifications in 64 GB (8x 8 GB) and 32 GB (4x 8 GB) kit capacities will support the latest Intel XMP 2.0 for easy overclocking setup and will be available via G.SKILL worldwide distribution partners in Q4 2019.

I wonder how much these kits will cost. Especially with the current drop in memory prices.

my dream is getting one of these kids, taking the stock headsinks off and putting on some of those old OCZ watercooled ones

That seems like a horrible thing to do with kids...

OK, so..
Now just make a gold/silver frosted version of these, but 4x16gb for my A51m.
Sure, I won't be able to see them until I can get a clear acrylic replacement bottom panel, but still.

You know RAM is a neccessity and it's not just for gaming in fact everything running on your computer uses it  and people who build new computers need to add RAM or the darn things won't work! I know crazy right? :kookoo::roll:

Most people won't need more then 16GB if you're gaming... If you are in office more then 8 is really not necessary and you should focus on lower latency low capacity kits to produce an endurance machine that is quite snappy... 64GB is only needed if you are doing 4k and above video editing or 3d modeling with the likes of maya and stuff... and still... usually lower latency instead of higher clocks usually yields better results in term of snappiness...

And you're completely disregarding enthusiasts and those with more money than sense both of which are big markets

Ok listen fine if you are an enthusiast... the only thing u could do with that much ram is create a ram disk and use it as scratch data or I don't know what...
My tower has two 2690v2s in it so 20c and 40t under water I have a quadfire of 7990s and 32GB of 1600mhz of ram... When I'm compiling the huge plant projects in TIA Portal I use maybe 12GB of it in total... go figure...

What a ridiculous comment. Virtualisation, machine learning, scientific workloads etc just because you don't have any requirement for it doesn't mean anyone else won't...

Not saying nobody requires it. Enthusiast don't! I stated that it is needed in particular scenarios... like video editing in 4k and 8k... high end CAD design... 3d modeling... all the ones you said...
I have a VMware cluster in office that I built and each host has 128GB of ram and I have 4 of those so yes of course there is need for it! But if you are a real enthusiast you should spend where it counts and high capacity kits that fill up your ram slots only reduce system stability and overclocking potential for your cpu since the memory controller in modern cpus is integrated in the cpu die causing more heat and power consumption.
