I've done this with every ATi card I ever owned and never had a problem.
Well, now everything is up and running fine.
Um.. Anyone notice that the ATi flag no longer moves...?
The one in video setting.
Well at lease CCC now takes much less memory.
I just reinstalled DOOM 3 to try out under Vista (I don't game all that often) and boy does it look great! The 7.2s coupled with ATITool 0.26 allow me to run DOOM 3 relatively smoothly @ 1280x1024 / HIGH SETTINGS / NO SHADOWS / 0x AA / 8x AF with my X1300XT OC!
I've never seen the picture look so good before! Everything was vivid and crisp and beautifuly detailed. My old X1800GTO didn't look this good back when I was using Media Center 2005 + Cats 6.4
Definitely a happy camper atm. Now I just need a better video card for Rainbow 6 : Vegas! :o
wow i love how they trimmed down ccc!!
and if q4 is faster doom3,prey and the like should be faster as well, amd was pusing hard to fix the OGL issues in the drivers, seems like it happened :D
even my poor 56k can deal with <10mb download for driver updates :D
But at lease I get some extra memory from the new CCC.:D
It is interesting that now AMD officially use CCC for Catalyst Control Center.
