System Requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Released
The official system requirements for the Call of Duty: modern Warfare Beta have been outed, and these should remain pretty close to the final release version requirements. If you want to enjoy the game's implemented NVIDIA RTX features, you know you'll have to have an NVIDIA RTX graphics card - that part is pretty straightforward.
Luckily, the system requirements for non-RTX gameplay aren't too steep; this is a Call of Duty game we're talking about, after all. Even though these games usually offer more than adequate graphics, this is a twitch shooter; the better frame rates players can have, the better and more fluid the action is; and hence, an optimized game engine is key. For the minimum system requirements, a Core i5 2500K "or AMD equivalent" is required, paired with an NVIDIA GeForce 670 2 GB (jeez, they really went into their dust bin for this one) or, puzzlingly, a GTX 1650 4 GB; for the AMD camp, a Radeon HD 7950 is all that's necessary. The recommended specs call for an Intel Core i7 4770K "or AMD equivalent" paired with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4 GB / GTX 1660 6 GB or an AMD Radeon R9 390 / RX 580. The games' beta will be available for all players tomorrow, September 21st.Minimum Requirements:

Optimized or not
Just saying...
It seems to me that when playing against people on junk ass systems on WW2 that it creates a special kind of lag...it looks like 30fps.
lag between people on higher system specs is just lag..
I know they want this open to a larger crowd but ffs...ugh
With how this game looks, asking for a 2500K as minimum is nothing short of rude. I'd understand if an i5 750 was there next to an FX8350, sure.
Also with graphics, i'd step it down a notch
is that how it works? i thought lag was with ping not gfx settings.. hmm i guess i dont play online enough but im def going to buy a few copies of this game.
Yet new to this Call of Duty entry is cross-play multiplayer, so you can squad up with your friends across systems. o wow you can play xbox 1 vs pc, sounds like gfx settings wont matter for lag but just my opinion.
I've played well with people in the RED of ping more accurately than quite a few people in green on junky systems...I know it's anecdotal...but it's hard to not notice
There is a huge difference between those 2 cards.
I'm really feeling a lot of MEHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Call of Sloth...
no realy don't blieve the pictures it's not how it will realy look like it just hyping
Its a blurry mess. all of it. I don't even want to touch the stupid artistic decision to make dark corners pitch black. You can't see jack in most maps
Set Tesselation to all.
Anything as good or better than a 970-4gb/1060-3gb on 1080p should turn all the eye candy to absolute BLIIING!
I have no distortion or blur of any kind.
I'm starting to wonder if my 1070ti could run this game @4k at good detail settings and higher than 75fps.
This game runs as good as HL2 runs at 2560x1440 75fps...lol it really is super optimized and I'm getting used to the speed or it's just the progression of the game...really unsure at this point.
With DSR 4K this game is utterly smooth with a 1070ti...
I'm getting 110-120FPS @2k everything maxed out on my 3900X/Vega64 (no CF support unfortunately so a nice idle card lol)
The chickens.
Think about it..
Nothing new but really good even on an old jenky PC.
Check my system specs.
I bought BO4 last year and returned it almost immediately. I couldnt get into it at all. But I gave this a go because my buddy (also on these forums) asked me if I was going to play it and we played it for 3 hours last night and I had a blast.
