Apple at CeBIT - for the first time since 1999

In the year 2000 Apple Computer, Inc. let the world know, that after 10 years attending CeBIT it won't exhibit anything at the show anymore. Now, seven years later, they finally agreed to have their own booth at this year's world's biggest exhibition.

Update: Surprisingly the situation changed a little, Apple won't have a booth but will be part of the lifestyle@CeBIT event.

I'm only interested in cheap 24" monitors or C2D Mac Minis ;)

Would be so awesome to have a macmini with an E4300 in it. :D

They use mobile cpus. But you can reportedly drop a mobile c2d in one. I haven't seen it with my own eyes to confirm, however.

They use Meroms? Hmm, guess I'll have a look at it sometime. Would be cool as a silent, low power Server. (Throw Win32, Linux... on it and have anyting you need ;))

Cause I really want a 24/7 Service machine :)

They actually use Yonahs (Core Duo/Solo), but supposedly the Core2s are a drop in upgrade, but like I said, I've not confirmed this. Try at your own risk. lol

EDIT: I should also mention that the original Mac Minis use PowerPC G4 cpu's. These are in no way compatible with Intel cpus. lol
