EK Introduces L-Shaped Brackets for FLT Series Reservoirs and Combo Units

EK, the premium water cooling gear manufacturer based in the EU, is introducing new L-shaped brackets for all current FLT series products. The EK-Loop Angled Bracket enables the user to mount the FLT style combo units or reservoirs perpendicular to any 120 mm fan mounting holes. This will allow more airflow to freely pass through the case, or just to offer new mounting options which are not supported by the case itself.

The new EK-Loop Angled Bracket - 120 mm can be mounted to any 120 mm (105 mm hole spacing) fan mounting holes. The bracket allows you to mount the FLT series products to your case, fans, or radiators in a perpendicular alignment. Additionally, you can use the long or the short side of your FLT product for additional mounting options.
This bracket also allows offsetting the product by about 10 cm with the rail system it uses, because the screws are not in a fixed location. This bracket is not limited to FLT series products, even though it was engineered for it. With a bit of imagination, you can also use it for mounting radiators or any products with 120 mm fan mounts.

Availability and Pricing
The EK-Loop Angled Bracket - 120 mm Reservoir Bracket is made in Slovenia, Europe, and it is available for order through EK Webshop and Partner Reseller Network. In the table below, you can see the manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP), VAT included.

MSRP: 22.90€. For more information, visit the product page.

Why would anyone in their right mind obstruct the airflow around the radiator, by mounting a fugly chunk of reservoir there?

Aint no airflow to obstruct when there is no airflow to begin with you, mount that radiator behind a glass panel and you are good to go.

This is a much better mounting solution than the awkward one that came with these on release. Looks better and gives more options without obstructing airflow.

Now they need to invent extended supports for the fans that are meant to be mounted on that radiator.
