Razer Launches Miniaturized DeathAdder V2 Gaming Mouse

Razer has worked on a variant of its famous and well-respected DeathAdder V2 gaming mouse. The aptly-named DeathAdder V2 Mini essentially takes (almost) all features from the original DeathAdder V2 revision and just shrinks it down to a smaller footprint for people with smaller hands than the norm. Dimensions for the Mini version stand at 4.5" (L) (11.43 cm) x 2.2" (W) (5.58 cm) x 1.5" (H) (3.81 cm) compared to the original's 5" (L) (12.7 cm) x 2.43" (W) (6.17 cm) x 1.68" (H) (4.26 cm) for the original DeathAdder V2. The Mini thus underwent a diet of sorts, coming in 20 grams lighter than its predecessor at just 62 grams.
So what else is changed, besides the size? Where did Razer have to cut features in order to make up for the lesser real-estate on the palm of your hand? The Mini version features only six programmable buttons compared to the original's eight; the DPI performance has also been reduced, and mightily at that: the new DeathAdder V2 Mini sports only a 8,500 DPI sensor compared to the original's 20,000 DPI. The new DeathAdder V2 Mini is now available for $49.99 ($20 less than the DeathAdder V2).

62 grams? This beats out the Viper by weight. But the sensor (Razer 5G, based off 3360) would still be better. If this is using the older 8500 DPI Razer sensor, then I think this is the PWM3310.

Trump: design a mouse for me, the best mouse ever.
Razer: No problems, here ya go, we even named it after you. ;)

As much as I'm for companies making smaller mice, I'll have to pass on this one. Already got a ROCCAT Kone Pure SE that I

Now if only more companies would realise different people have different hand sizes, would love a smaller G703.

Man, it’s like Razer is terrified of releasing a wireless DAV2 lol. It’s the one mouse fans have been pining for.

I have big hands and most mice are not really comfortable for me. My current tailess rodent (MX Master3) is the best one that I have found so far, but I would gladly buy an "XL" version if it were available :D
