Battlefield 6 a "Soft Reboot" with a Modern Setting, 128-player PvP and Battle Royale Modes Included
The upcoming "Battlefield 6" would mark a "soft-reboot" of the franchise in a modern-era setting; much like "Battlefield 3" was, according to Tom Henderson, a reliable source with leaks related to the franchise. He predicts that the game could even be titled simply "Battlefield" (not to be confused with "Battlefield 1"). The game (if it includes a campaign), could have a modern mechanized warfare setting, and be a marked departure from the historic (or pseudo-historic) plots of "Battlefield 1" and "Battlefield V."
Much like how Activision is handling various game modes with its latest releases of "Call of Duty," the next Battlefield could include a dedicated Battle Royale mode that's more evolved than simply being a gameplay mode within its Multiplayer. The main Multiplayer could build on the modes Battlefield perfected, including large PvP conquests with up to 128 players on the PC platform (fewer players on consoles).

I Lost faith in BF since BF1 (the world war I) and BF5 was One of the worst I played.
Plus nowadays it seems battle royale is the most important part of any multiplayer Shooter wich is bad imo as I dont like that genre a single bit, yet I expect them to work on that more than the old school conquest/rush modes.
If it was 7 years ago I would blindly pre-order, this is One of my fav franchises. But after all the recent mess,Will wait longer after it releases
The series has gone to putz.
Battlefield 1 though not perfect, but it was fun to play with, 2000 hours of my life spent on that game. Engaging cinematic multiplayer mode, elite classes, behemoth and fairly balanced TTK. At first glance I thought Battlefield V could refine anything Battlefield 1 lacks, but as that hideous trailer shows and nearly 6 months starving for content, I come to realize EA really is Bad Company.
I hope the game's good as bf4 to dump 2-3k hours with the boys.
I miss dropping fat 100-2's with attack helis and tanks.
Yeah, *I* noticed many differences. BF1 is shite. But it did have more content which is why I am not opposed to Premium being reintroduced.
I completely agree with the battle royale, can't stand this type of gameplay. I've tried everything since H1Z1, and none of it has appealed to me. Especially PUBG, that game is just pure overrated garbage.
