HyperX Renews Sponsorship with Pokimane as Brand Ambassador

HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology Company, Inc., today announced the re-signing of top female content creator Pokimane. Under the sponsorship, Pokimane will be using HyperX gaming headsets, keyboards, mice, and mouse pads exclusively in her streaming content and other marketing initiatives.

"It was an easy choice for me to renew my partnership with HyperX after another incredible year with them," said Pokimane, content creator, HyperX ambassador. "My Cloud Alpha S headset already goes with me everywhere and I can't wait to see what HyperX creates in the future!" Pokimane began her streaming career as a League of Legends streamer after diverting from a chemical engineering career path. She rapidly became one of the top female content creators with successful channels across multiple platforms. As a HyperX brand ambassador, Pokimane will continue to help deliver the HyperX gaming story to her growing audience of more than 28 million fans.
"HyperX is proud to partner with Pokimane for another year," said Khoi Nguyen, influencer marketing manager, HyperX. "As a strong supporter of diversity in gaming and a long-standing sponsor of Pokimane, we believe it's important to elevate the women in this industry. We are looking forward to this continued alliance with Pokimane and developing new content and activations with our gaming peripherals - inspiring all gamers to achieve their best."

From top-tier headsets with legendary comfort and amazing audio, to keyboards designed for digital domination and mice providing the ultimate precision and accuracy, HyperX has all the peripherals to provide the best gaming experience. As a top female streamer, Pokimane understands the value of having reliable and high-performance gaming gear, making her an ideal partner and member of the HyperX family.

Guys... it's a killer deal for them. They don't care what kind of person she is. They care that millions of people will watch her show off HyperX gear lol. She's a big streamer. Like a lot of them, it's drama town. I don't have the time to look it up. I don't care. HyperX doesn't care. I'm not sure why anybody cares.

I have a theory... and it ties into reality television. The soap opera format basically cashed-out around 3 decades ago. It's not bringing in young audiences. But there is something in people... they like those weird, dramatic love triangles and just... people being crappy to each other in absurd ways. A marriage of high-money and high-trash, they need to be attractive people in nice places, with nice stuff. That didn't change when the digital age kicked in. It's just that now we have content creators and reality TV shows to generate that sort of thing.

Who cares who she is IRL ? She is cute, she makes money, she got viewers, subs, she can be sponsored and help any company x)
Our current society is about money, not about personality, trash or not.
Pro tip : stop watching twitch/youtube/pornhub and it will just vanish.
Even if you go there to troll/trash talk, you give them money (ads), just saying.

Y'all ready for a woman's point of view? :D

Newsflash to whoever the hell "Pokimane" is - I thankfully don't know and don't care -- enjoy the attention while it lasts, honey. Because the ONLY reason you are where you are is because you're young, pretty, got perky tiddies and the majority of "gamers" are unequivocally male. Meaning, they could probably give two shits about your streaming and mainly watch you because of dem looks and tiddies. /mic drop

I don't watch game streaming, who the eff wants to see someone else play a game you may or may not play in the future :wtf:

If I want to check out games I just see (written) reviews et al, not some wannabe 2sec HoF trying to make a quick buck!

No idea why one would anyine watch streamers? There are walk-throughs for games if you need some help, there are also written and video reviews of games, hardware.. Etc.

So it is true! A person cannot spell it correctly until they have seen one in real life!

P.S. Knowing who see is and her "real life" personality, tells much about what kind of a person one is.

Am I the only one here who finds the term "content creator" awfully awkward? By definition, it's anyone who puts sh** on youtube on a regular basis, though the term content creator implies that there is some kind of value (content?) involved, which is not always the case. If I record how I put my shoes on before going to work every single night and put it on youtube, I'm technically a content creator, even though the community value of my content is highly arguable at best. I guess it's just another 21st century bull**** fancy term for something of questionable use - sort of like companies introducing "people advisors" instead of HR admins, or "hygiene specialists" instead of cleaners or janitors.

Sorry for the philosophical mood.

No idea who she is, very rarely watch streams/twitch and only like 2 dudes who play ARPGs that I'm interested in.

I have and like my Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger for years now, bought it based on actual reviews and multiple suggestions within my budget range and not because of some streamer/tiddies.

Yeah, in 2021. Who knows what kind of picture/video sharing service (that does exactly the same thing as the rest) people come up with next year.

Are there any articles from actual news sources about this person’s alleged shittiness?

All I can see is someone who was accused of sexually harassment by two women getting mad that they weren’t nicer to him, but I don’t pay any attention to this world.

Who is she?
I mean, thats easy and effortless marketing for HyperX, instead of leaving product to actual reviewer, where it can be bash, criticize and exposed for flaws, streamer just sit there say nothing and audience still got impression that product is good. Like a cult really, what a strange world we live in.
