PC Building Simulator 2 Announced As An Epic Games Exclusive

Today we're excited to share something we've been making in the background for quite a while - PC Building Simulator 2. Working alongside the development team at Spiral House, and with nearly every major hardware vendor in the PC scene, announcing a sequel means a chance to step up and push the limits on virtual PC creation to new heights (and of course, add better RGB).

Sam 'Caliburn' Hills, Senior Community Manager of PC Building Simulator, explained "It's a chance for us to do a lot of the things we couldn't do before on a technical level. We're aiming to simultaneously add more depth to the simulation, increase options for customization, improve the ability to tinker, and to make a better-looking game... It's hard work but right now everyone on the team is really hyped."
Following on from the huge success of the first title, PC Building Simulator 2 will innovate on the original's repair shop experience, adding an improved and expanded feature set incorporating years of community feedback.

Why not just update the original...there isn't PC 2.0 in the real world.

It should have a larger selection of components, sucks that I can't build my own rig on it.

I got bored trying to figure out how to start the game -there is no walk-through

I originally had no interest in simulating what I had been doing for twenty years, but then a friend gifted it (and got to find out how clunky it is, after an hour of frustration not being able to plug-in a power cable, I gave up!)

I now have absolutely zero interest in playing this trash-heap sequel!

I picked up the first one because it was free on epic and enjoyed playing around in there but I was not going to dump money on it to get access to other brands and hardware in the game.

My 8-year-old loves PCBS. Loves to buy brand-new parts, build custom PCs, and sell them at auction for a third of their value. I've lost track of the times I've had to use a cheat to bring his bank balance back above zero.

Does it come with simulated programmable bots so you can try to shop for the parts you need?

I'd imagine that should be 90% of the content in this game...:laugh::laugh:

For authentic feel one shouldn't be able to obtain most of the high-end parts. :D

This game makes me laugh! First what's the point of building a PC virtually? Second, I think the only reason something like this is viable is because you can't find the parts in real life. And if you can, you need to sell your first born to be able to afford the parts.

Well, it's actually a fun game to play as you're work as a repairman/builder for customers. Nothing spectacular, but for a "simulator" type of a game, it's one of the better ones IMO.

I see your point. It could be fun from that perspective.

well, as some mentioned, i do not really see the need for that "V2" the initial already has enough with the current add-ons

that being said, i got the first one for free on EGS without add-ons ... no need even at ~6chf a piece or the mega pack at ~35chf ... furthermore if it's Razer or even  Esports add-on, other brand add-ons are fine but well... naaaaaaahhh basic PCBS is enough who really need virtual branded good (i wonder if they did replicate all the issues i had with Razer gear  if not : then it's not a simulator!)

thus i did not see the need to the first one either  although it was somewhat fun for a spin (then the fan stop spinning  ), but not more.

Ahh balls this is my after work life anyway wtf would I sign up for Extra faulty shit to fix ,and they're never getting the feel right.

How many on it!, have heard your quotes too much,, at basically free work costs ,just parts before never hearing from them again.
Or you fix it only for them to reverse course on the full wipes ok at the end ,now that's a special one because you know I double and triple checked in conversation before doing it.

True, but the game functions more like running your own repair shop.

HAHA! Took me 3 tries and 2 rage uninstalls and reinstalls before I understood what to do.
