Fair enough if it comes out on GOG then let's get it on. Spoiler I own the actual NEOGEO MVS arcade hardware and am not half bad at all this. I also own the Atomiswave arcade hardware and SS VI (aka Samurai Showdown Tenka) and am fully up to date.

I agree on Steam. I had a really bad experience with the Steam Deck. I was hospitalized due to getting hit by a car while on my bike, this was on a Friday. Nothing major just busted up a bit. I got the notification that I had till Sunday at 2pm to claim my order, I had ordered the nice Deck. I fucking messaged them that "yo, in hospital, I can't suffle funds about now please delay till Monday" and que the stupid. Not only did they shit can my order (I had an old military buddy try to login and get it) their fucking tech support didn't get back to me till Thursday at which point they told me this was not negotiable and instead of giving me my five bucks back (don't really care) they gave me five steam bucks to reserve another Deck that I wouldn't get till the end of 2023. When I called them out they pretty much told me to piss off.

The entire thing was handled horribly. It's piss poor customer support and it's fucking beyond idiotic that you don't get a response till you are already fucked by the issue. This happens all the time with them. I have Steam Link, Steam Controller, hell I had a Steam Box I smuggled into work. Each fucking time with their hardware I've been burned. And their response is always way too late and is "well sucks to be you". No you assholes I gave you my money I've had your client since HL2 preload you unfuck this situation.

Hell yeah! To be fair, I own a few of the titles SNK put out on GOG and I like them. Would buy more if they got them on GOG.

I had the SNES version of Samurai Showdown. It wasn't perfect, but it was damn good! I loved it! It's still my favorite fighting game for the SNES. I was really hoping for Showdown2 but that never happened..

SNK on GOG is hit or miss as the community is really on Steam. So you can get insane level matches in KOF easy, and quick.

That's the thing though, I don't care about internet play. I prefer having friend over and playing in person. IMHO, technology should make life better, not detach us from each other.
