HyperX Clutch Gladiate and Pulsefire Haste 2 Thumbs-on

At the 2023 International CES, HyperX launched its most powerful wired Xbox controller, the HyperX Clutch Gladiate. An official Xbox-licensed third-party controller, the Clutch Gladiate comes with locks for each of the two triggers, and re-mappable rear buttons. Haptics are care of a dual-motor rumble rigging, with fine-grained force feedback. The controller also comes with a 3.5 mm analog headset jack.

The Pulsefire Haste 2 gaming mouse comes in wired- and wireless variants. It has a pseudo-ambidextrous shape (the side buttons are only accessible for righthanders). The wired version weights 53 g, while the wireless one surprisingly isn't much heavier, at just 62 g, yet with up to 100 hours of battery life on a single charge. These mice use in-house HyperX Switches rated for 100 million clicks; and HyperX 26K (26,000 dpi) sensor. Its electronics provide a staggering 8000 Hz polling rate. The mouse comes with PTFE skates that strike a balance between both speed and precision. The Clutch Gladiate is priced at $35, the wired Pulsefire Haste 2 at $60, and the wireless Pulsefire Haste 2 at $80.

If HyperX/HP fixed the weird deviation from the first Pulsefire Haste, it could be a good contender to take the crown from the Pro X Superlight.
