Razer Wolverine V2 Pro Wireless Controller for PlayStation 5 Pictured
At the 2023 International CES, Razer unveiled its latest Wolverine V2 Pro wireless controller for PlayStation 5, an officially licensed aftermarket controller for the console. This is an evolution of the Wolverine V2 the company unveiled in 2021, but designed for PS5 instead of the Xbox, which means you get all of the buttons, triggers, and touchpad of the Sony DualSense controller. The controller features Razer's proprietary HyperSpeed low-latency wireless technology. Among its unique features are the mecha-tactile action buttons with much lower actuation times and 3 million-press endurance; the company's HyperTrigger pull-locks, an 8-way microswitch D-pad, six remappable buttons and and replaceable thumbsticks to match different game genres. At $250, the Wolverine V2 Pro sells at a $50 premium over the new Sony DualSense Edge, but promises superior ergonomics, more game genre-specific configurability, and a lower-latency wireless interface.

How will they do remaping and stuff like that, will they have access to whatever features the DualSense Edge will open up or will Sony allow for a specific Razer config app? Or are they advertising basic remaping features within the console as their own?
The placement of dpad and analog stick depends on what you play. Xbox controllers are good for anything with the stick but they are awful with dpad. Playstation controllers are good for both, at least until dualsense which is certainly a bad controller.
Dualshock 4 is probably the best all around controller.
