NVIDIA RTX 4090 Ti / RTX TITAN (Ada) Pictured, Behold the 4-slot Cinder Block

Here's the very first picture of an alleged upcoming NVIDIA flagship/halo product to be positioned above the GeForce RTX 4090. There are two distinct brand names being rumored for this product—the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti, and the NVIDIA RTX TITAN (Ada). The RTX 4090 only uses 128 out of 144 (88 percent) of the streaming multiprocessors (SM) on the 4 nm "AD102" silicon, leaving NVIDIA with plenty of room to design a halo product that maxes it out. Besides maxing out the silicon, NVIDIA has the opportunity to increase the typical graphics power closer to the 600 W continuous power-delivery limit of the 16-pin ATX 12VHPWR connector; and use faster 24 Gbps-rated GDDR6X memory chips (the RTX 4090 uses 21 Gbps memory).

The card is 4 slots thick, with the rear I/O bracket covering all 4 slots. The card's display outputs are arranged along the thickness of the card, rather than along the base. The cooler is a monstrous scale-up of the Dual-Axial Flow Through cooler of the RTX 4090 Founders Edition. The card is designed such that the PCB doesn't come up perpendicular to the plane of the motherboard like any other add-on card, but rather, the PCB is parallel to the plane of the motherboard. The PCB is arranged along the thickness of the card. This has probably been done to maximize the spatial volume occupied by the cooling solution, and probably even make room for a third fan. We also predict that the PCB is split in such a way that a smaller PCB has the display I/O, and yet another PCB handles the PCI-Express slot interface. Sufficed to say, the RTX 4090 Ti / RTX TITAN will be an engineering masterpiece by NVIDIA.

ixiToo overpriced - pass.
Right but what if you're cleaning your computer and you all of a sudden need to bludgeon a rotweiller to death? See here you already have something at hand that can do it!

Can some brand please make a case that fit's a single rear 200mm fan mount with maybe mounts for dual 140mm too. So anyways if this thing is that THICC, why can't I have an EXTRA wide (THICC) rear case ?

So soon? They don't milk the sheep with 4090 any longer like they did with 3090 before launching the Ti version?

Also, that cooler is a total joke. After Pascal, efficiency seems to be totally forgotten, just MOAR WATTS no matter what.

TumbleGeorgeYou must be very productive, so today, at this very moment, with your single-core 3.066GHz P4 Northwood PC, the 2002 flagship model with Windows XP. I don't even remember what the flagship video card was from that year. You overtake all business competitors. :)
Kind of a silly extrapolation of my point, being that the hardware doesn't get any slower, the workloads just get more demanding.

Boy this thread is a rollercoaster.

wolfIt amazes me the amount of people that either don't understand this, or know it and chime in just to spew hate anyway. Almost by definition this product isn't for the people whining about size/cost/power requirements. The Ferrari analogy works a treat. I suppose it's easier to go hurr durr nvidia bad power connector melt har har.
The problem is that this niche product drags the entire product stack upward along with it. This wasn't a problem before because there was a clear demarcation, if you wanted raw perf, costs be damned ‐> professional line of cards e.g. Firepro/Quadro, everyone else -> consumer line e.g. Geforce/Radeon.

Then they charged whatever exorbitant price they wanted on the upper end with the lower was insulated. $3k quadro card have it, others could would just enjoy their $150/$250 8800 GT's.

So what if I need a dedicated 220 V outlet to power it. I just came here to see the benchmarks.

The “4090 Ti” isn’t coming anytime soon. Maybe Q4 2023 at the earliest. Q1 2024 is more likely.

No one is buying Quadro cards to play games. They don’t have “raw performance”.

With 2 SMs disabled 142/144 just like 3090 82/84 SM it's coming much sooner than 2024. Doesn't need to wait the high yields as the node matures.

mechtechonly 4 slots................

but my PC has 7 though
Had me rolling :D Don't worry mate, custom AIBs can take it a notch to at least 5??? They can really let it rip with the mecha design or some waifu S+ Rikka thighs edition.... :D

Colorful saw it man, they knew with the GTX680...the time for physics breaking, balls-to-the-wall, chonker GPUs will come. ;)

Yraggul666WOWZERS!

This could be a weapon in Hitman and also irl; i'd call the achievement death by 4090Ti/RTX Titan bonk.
I think this is going to happen some day. Its too good not to.

Also still waiting on the Nokia 3310 kill scene and the first Donald Duck comic where the good old piano gets replaced with a gpu :)

Titans for 2k+ existed many years ago, I'm pretty sure both camps just cottoned onto charging applicable price to perf across the stack, instead of a 2nd teir gpu that's 10% slower for 50% of the money, plus both launch top tier first and and work down... A lot has changed, I doubt a 4090ti or titan Ada will change much if anything.

Titan Z, V and RTX were over 2K cards, from the OG Titan to Xp, they were about 1000-1200USD. Back in the day almost no gamer bought those, but now it's totally fine to spend over 2k for a GPU

(I know there's inflation etc., but still)

Idk about you but even if I afford it I wouldn't buy this. Typical day where I live is >30 degrees so I'll basically cook myself to death with this thing in the same room.

I'm not even joking when I say this card could cost as much as my car here where I live. Or at least half of it (a 4090 already costs 1/4 of it), which is absurd on its own.
As in any condition it would bust my credit limit, might as well say I can't afford it.

FluffmeisterWhy are you so upset or surprised a 4090 Ti might come to market early anyway?
I was just curious to know, what triggered it, timing is very unusual.

These pictures are of an old 4090 prototype. They’ve been on the internet since before the 40-series was even announced. They are not new pics of a 4090 Ti/Titan Ada.
