Razer Launches Updated Blade 15 Laptop with NVIDIA RTX 4060 and 4070 GPU Options

A brand-new Razer Blade 15—continuing its storied legacy of pushing the boundaries of thin and light 15" gaming laptops—is now available. This ultra-portable gaming machine is powered by the latest 13th generation Intel Core i7 13800H processor and NVIDIA's newest GeForce RTX 40-series GPUs, up to the RTX 4070. Enhanced vapor chamber cooling and thinner 0.05 mm exhaust fins provide the exceptional thermal control needed to pack this level of performance in a laptop that is 25% smaller than the Blade 16.

The Blade 15 places portability at the forefront. As the thinnest Blade in the 2023 line, it weighs less than four and a half pounds and delivers up to over six hours of battery life from its 80 Wh battery. The 16:9 QHD 240 Hz display provides smooth, sharp visuals with a 2.5 ms response time and 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The Blade 15 is easily upgradeable, accommodating up to 4 TB of storage using an extra M.2 slot and up to 64 GB DDR5-5200 MHz memory, allowing users to keep pace with even the most demanding games and tasks.
In addition to the new Razer Blade 15, the recently launched Blade 16 and Blade 18 are now available equipped with RTX 4060 and 4070 GPUs as well. These configurations round out the full line of the new Blade 16 and Blade 18 laptops.

All Blade laptops are protected by a 1-year manufacturing warranty and a 2-year battery warranty backed up by Razer's award-winning customer support. Optional enrollment in RazerCare provides further peace of mind.

I really liked the razer blade stealth, and was disappointed to see it was left on the cutting room floor. Hopefully we get a new one with the 4050.

Well, 4070M does not look promising at all. It was found in one system to be less than 1% faster than 3070M Ti

Bad move by NVIDIA to cut the RTX 4070 Mobile down to a 128-bit bus. The generational improvement now just makes it perform like an equal to the RTX 3070 Ti/Non-Ti Mobile instead of beating it. The RTX 3070M (both Ti and non-Ti) was 256-bit.

The RTX 4080 Mobile now has a 192-bit bus, yes, but it redeems itself against the RTX 3080 and 3080 Ti Mobile because the performance difference is still significant between them (like a +30% improvement without DLSS and frame generation enabled) so the generational improvement shows. This is somewhat impressive because the 4080 Mobile and 3080 Ti Mobile have nearly the same specs except for the faster memory ICs and slower 192-bit bus on the 4080M.

The difference between the 3070 and 3070ti mobile is maybe 9% in games. So the difference between the 3070 and 4070 mobile might only be 13% at most.
