wow that's some pathetic prize money. Like local gaming tournaments can get you more. Still Overcloking has always been about pushing the boundaries and PR and getting your name out there, so i hope the competition is good . It would be fun to watch atleast !

Well, you have to consider the fact that they're probably spending $40,000 on their power bill for the event. Haha

Well the rules are pretty straight forward and focuses on memory instead of CPU clocks being the deciding factor. Though I assume the 4-core limit is E or P cores, but you aren't going to get good results with E cores.
  • Limited to Intel LGA1700 Platforms & G.SKILL DDR4/5 memory only (Retail only)
  • 4 processor cores maximum, no Hyper Threading (disabling cores allowed)
  • Maximum CPU and Cache frequency of 5503MHz (CPU-Z and BM result tab)
Only way your even going to the event is with LN2 submissions.

This post reminds me of that Jack Nicholson film As Good as It Gets where he unwraps a bar of soap, uses it once and then chucks it in the trash. I have not seen such a bloated egotistical post in a long time and I see Intel and Nvidia fan boy comments on a daily basis.

I know, right?

I know I'm an exception, but still, my fellow sisters do not look happy in that pic. I can literally see one thinking to herself "why am I here? The fuck is this?"
