Nacon Unleashes RoboCop: Rogue City Gameplay Video, Moves Release Date to September 2023

Welcome to Detroit; crime runs rampant as the city lies on the edge of ruin, people fighting for scraps as others live extravagant lives of luxury. Control of the Detroit Police Department is given to the Omni Consumer Products corporation in an attempt to restore order. You are that solution, RoboCop, a cyborg tasked with protecting the city.
The triumphant return of RoboCop wouldn't feel right without the man who brought so much life into the role, and we're excited to reveal that Peter Weller will be performing voiceover work on the game. Enjoy this first look at gameplay and for the record, "dead or alive, you're coming with me!"

RoboCop: Rogue City will be coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in September 2023.

Become the iconic part man, part machine, all cop hero as you attempt to bring justice to the dangerous, crime-ridden streets of Old Detroit. Armed with your trusty Auto-9, factory-built strength, years of experience on the force and a variety of tools at your disposal, you will fight forces seeking to destroy the city you call home in an all new first-person, explosive hunt for the truth. You have the power to decide how to fulfil prime directives in your own way, but as the story unfolds proceed with caution because corruption and greed know no limits.

The graphics don't look too impressive, but I love Robo so I'll check this out. It has been ages since I tried any modern game fps games.

Nice. They're using the original Robocop design and got the original actor to voice it. I never really liked the reboot version.

Hopefully the writing is more interesting than the gameplay looks in the trailer.

The voice acting could use some work.... the crooks sound like they are from Borderlands and ol Robo just sounds uninterested.

also the bulletsplatter is just so weak...and so outdated.....

hell even that line "just die already" ffs people were paid to write that?

Dont want to be all negative, the city looks cool, reminds me of sections of Time splitters back in the day, or Condemned, but for the rest it just looks like a game from 10 years ago, like why cant AI become a bit more....advanced...they just stand there while rococop slowly aims and makes an ugly bloodfountain squirt out of them...

13 years olds are very excited now I guess
It gives me max payne vibes and I think its only a matter of time when we will see gritty downtown ex-cop action again in all of dx12 and RT glory
