More HD 2900XT Cards Spotted and Priced

The blokes from TechOne | HDTV got hold of a picture of an HD 2900XT card from Sapphire. The interesting part of this board is the cooling unit, which is obviously different from the reference design we have seen earlier. It features three heatpipes and the blades of the radial blower are bigger than on the reference design which usually should lead to a lower overall noise.
Meanwhile some German shops began listing ASUS and Sapphire HD 2900XT cards but the shops took the offers down for some unknown reasons. Though I missed to make a screenshot when I first came across the online shop grafikkartenpower.de which still has a 2900XT category, I remember the price which was 365.90 Euro. Furthermore the European pricegrabbing machine Geizhals.at still has the speeds of GPU and memory online, 757MHz respectively 828MHz (1656MHz effectively). At the moment this information is still to be taken with a grain of salt though until the world wide NDA is lifted on May 14th.

nice. now require 3 power connectors in order to work properly : 1 Pci-e 8pins, 1pci-e 6pins, and an extra 4pins molex plug for the HS. all that said, i wait impatiently the day Nvidia & ATI while offer gaming solutions with realistic power consumption, cos right now it's insane !

when AMD 754 64bit cpus came out in like 2003, we were all like with in 2 years everything and all games will be 64 bit, when dual core came out in like 2005 i think it was we was all like with in a year everything and all games will be dual core compatible, same goes for DX 10 and widescreen support

today all games should be 64 bit, dual core, dx10 and widescreen compatible but they are not, ok maybe we can leave out dx10 coz its still quite new, but the other factors should all have been standered since early 2006 and 64 should be standered since like 2005

agree 100percent!!!

and this is why the ps3 and 360 are far more visualy advanced!! the hardware may not be asgood as the pc, but when you play the graphics is far better!!!! software on pc is way way way behind!!!

IF I have the money for one of these puppies ($400.00) you better believe Ill be buying one of these. More than likely a bios flash or something will allow us to unlock these to xtx. If not, I wont be complaining.

I heard that the new 2900xtxex will use direct electron sub particals. It will also have room for a six pack of beer in its cooler and during intensive game play will spray cheese wiz directly in your mouth. I can't wait it's going to so pawn the nvidia 9900 gtxtxII  all for the same price as a 1650 xt
