Swiftech Announces it's Back in the Consumer Liquid Cooling Scene and is Hiring

Swiftech made its first announcement in over 5 years. The DIY liquid cooling hardware brand realized that with Moore's Law buckling, and CPUs and GPUs getting hotter, the best days of the PC cooling industry are only ahead of us. In a Facebook post announcing their return, Swiftech said that it kept busy all these years on some industrial OEM projects, and stayed away from the consumer product business. The company stated that by the end of 2023, it hopes to launch a completely new lineup of DIY liquid cooling products (Swiftech historically covered the full stack of liquid cooling products, including water blocks, radiators, fittings, tubing, coolants, etc. The company also announced that it will diversify into "adjacent product lines" (which could mean fans, and possibly even AIO coolers).

Swiftech is looking for professionals across numerous engineering, business management, marketing, content creation, and community management positions. Reach out to them if you'd like to work for them!

You know what, Swiftech? I'll bite.
What's your business model? how do you see yourself succeeding in this market?
DIY watercooling is rapidly shrinking in adoption every yeah, so surely you have something planned, right?

It kinda says it right there in the article: 'things get hotter, so we can keep them cool'

Not exactly the most well thought out plan, but hey

In a world where it seems like the wcing players just keep dropping off the map this is great news.
I just hope their blocks aren't more of the cheesy plexi type they made during their last go round. If they can come close to the level of innovation they once held they should make a big splash in the wcing community once again! ;)

Exciting news for once!

I had a Swiftech H20-220-APEX-GT CPU Liquid Cooling Kit for like 10 years. Adapted the CPU block to AM4 socket until the pump started to graze the interior and make noise but it had way too many years on.
It had large 7/16" ID (5/8" OD) tubing... I hope they can come back with something similar. Now I had to compromise and went for an AIO from ID Cooling... let´s see hoy many years it lasts...

Ya I ran some Swiftech blocks years back - even looked for them before buying my current Corsair block, but saw they hadn't released anything for quite some time. Happy to give them another look next time I'm upgrading hardware.

I'm running a Swiftech loop on my 5800X3D. I bought the Apogee XL block & MCR360 rad for an FX8320 that I had running @ 4.7GHz, and the MCP655 pump has cooled the FX CPU, Core2 Quad, Core2 Dou & Pentium 4 in the past. In my experience Swiftech makes quality components, and I'm glad to see they are going to get back into the game.

I used an MCP 35 pump in my wife's AM4 build which I moved from an FX-8350 build I had a while ago. (Along with a Danger Den reservoir & radiator). Solid pump, quiet, and has held up for years.

Lol. I had forgotten they produced the Cather G4. That was a fun era for WCing. I’ve still got an Iwaki MD20Z somewhere.

Yessir, one of the best ddc style pumps ever made. Unfortunately they haven't been available for at least a year or more. That's one of the things I'm hoping to see them start restocking ASAP. All of their ddc pumps! MCP35, 50x and 355s have all been oos forever.
