AMD's Starfield Game Bundle Promo Campaign Goes Live

AMD and Bethesda have officially launched the Starfield Game Bundle today—this promotion has been leaked several times recently, with Team Red's Taiwanese operation revealing (late last week) that the campaign would be starting on July 11. That date also applies to the vast majority of global territories—company web presences are showing that the new game bundle has gone live with their offer of "Get Starfield when you buy select AMD Ryzen processors, AMD Radeon graphics cards, or a gaming system that contains both."

Bethesda's Starfield is scheduled for release on September 6—prospective AMD hardware buyers are invited to select Standard or Premium Edition tiers, depending on the choice of qualifying Ryzen or Radeon products. The entry point comprises Ryzen 5 7000 series CPUs or Radeon 6600 GPUs. Premium 5-day early access is made available to buyers of Ryzen 9 7000 CPUs or Radeon cards starting with RX 6700 models.
AMD"Today, AMD announced a set of bundles offering gamers complimentary access to the hotly anticipated Starfield with the purchase of select AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors, AMD Radeon RX 7000 and 6000 Series graphics cards, and AMD-based systems, through September 30, 2023. Gamers can take full advantage of AMD products for a truly next-gen experience in Starfield Premium Edition with the purchase of eligible AMD-based systems or Ryzen 9 processors - including the class-leading Ryzen 9 7950X3D - and with select Radeon RX Radeon RX 7000 and 6000 Series graphics cards, like the 4K powerhouse Radeon RX 7900 XTX or 1440p champion RX 6700 XT.

Mainstream gamers looking to make the most of their experience with AMD products will receive access to Starfield Standard Edition with the purchase of select Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 5 SKUs, including the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, and with the Radeon RX 7600 and Radeon RX 6600 Series graphics cards. Check out the full SKU breakdown and tiered offers under the game bundle here. Starfield will be made available once it officially launches on September 6, 2023. Starfield Premium Edition grants players up to 5 days early access to the game."

I can't find anything official about the PC version being capped at 60 FPS, just stuff about Xbox capped at 30 FPS.

My best guess is 70-100 FPS on a 7900XT at 4K, maybe more. There is just too much subjectivity without having our hands on the game.

Plus different parts of the game will have wildly different FPS. In space and there aren't large gas textures? Might see nearly 200 FPS. On the surface in an area with tons of vegetation? Might struggle at 40 FPS without mods in specific scenarios.

Does the game have the ability to fly from space direct to the surface like No Man's Sky? How do large swaths of the surface load? Do they "pop-in" or has there been an effort to reduce that kind of visual distortion? If the later, what is the impact on the FPS? How smoothly can wildly different regions (e.g. a desert, grasslands, forest, jungle, arctic) blend - hard line, subtly, middling?

So even with some numbers there are going to be a lot of different scenarios where the FPS can dramatically change. Plus what are all the updates and improvements to the game engine since Fallout 76? Presuming they have an in-game benchmark then the more varied environments the benchmark provides in a single go the better!
