Intel First to Release Graphics Drivers for Baldur's Gate 3

Intel Graphics late Wednesday released the Arc GPU Graphics Software 101.4578 beta. These drivers come with Game On (day-zero) optimization for the hottest game release of this Summer, "Baldur's Gate 3." Intel beat both AMD and NVIDIA to be the first with optimized drivers for the game. The fantasy RPG releases later today. Given that the game is very easy on system requirements, you can expect the entire span of Intel Arc "Alchemist" graphics card to be perfectly suited to the game. The Arc A380 should be able to max out the game at resolutions of 1080p, while the A750 and A770 should max it out at 1440p and 4K Ultra HD.

I'm glad they've made an effort specifically for this big title, and it will be interesting to test their claims of " The Arc A380 should be able to max out the game at resolutions of 1080p, while the A750 and A770 should max it out at 1440p and 4K Ultra HD."

I dont believe there will be any drivers for BG3 from amd/nvidia, since the game is like 3 years in EA already. Not until 6th August for sure, coz devs promised new graphical features (like FSR2.2) only after 06.08.

You know the driver quality is bad when a driver needs to "support" a game.
Sure, they often add performance profiles and sometimes a bit of tinkering with shaders, but if this means game-specific workarounds in the driver then it's a very bad sign.

Just give us drivers that implements the APIs correctly, and all software should work fine. All of them needs to get better at this, though Intel has been the worst lately.
