EK Announces Reflection² Distro Plate for LIAN LI O11D EVO XL
EK, the world-renowned provider of premium liquid cooling solutions, is launching a new distro plate for the just-released LIAN LI O11D EVO XL case. It is designed to provide advanced water cooling with the latest 3rd generation SATA-powered D5 pump, reducing the need for additional 4-pin Molex cables. The Reflection² series distribution plates are EK-Matrix7 compliant. On top of the push-in ports, allowing for easier radiator insertion and support for inverted layout, it also supports up to three 420 mm radiators and a vertically-mounted GPU.
EK-Quantum Reflection² PC-O11D EVO XL D5 PWM D-RGB
The EK-Quantum Reflection² PC-O11D EVO XL D5 PWM D-RGB is a custom water cooling reservoir, routing, and pump solution that seamlessly fits into the front of the case. This waterway also has five innovative push-in ports with female G1/4" threaded adapters. The idea is that users can assemble the top and bottom radiator with fittings and tubing and use these push-in adapters to simply slide it into the distro plate. To fit 420 mm radiators, the Push-In Adapter M7 should be used, which is available as a stand-alone product in the EK Shop.Designed to offer unique aesthetics and ease of use, this advanced all-in-one waterway solution includes a pump, reservoir, simple mounting mechanism, and multiple industry-standard G1/4" threaded inlets and outlets. The placement of these inlets and outlets is aligned to fit with other EK products to minimize the number of bends needed when building the loop.
With the installed distro plate, the maximum radiator size is as follows:
Engineered to be mounted on the front window of the LIAN LI O11D EVO XL case, the EK-Quantum Reflection² PC-O11D EVO XL D5 PWM D-RGB fits perfectly within this chassis. The motherboard tray must be moved from its default position to the central position for full Matrix7 compatibility. This distribution plate can also be used in the inverted layout of the chassis, in which case the radiator compatibility is reversed.
The addressable D-RGB LED Strip runs down the entire unit length, with 24 LEDs providing even lighting and avoiding hotspots. The built-in addressable LED Strip connects to the motherboard's 5 V header or a dedicated D-RGB controller. It is also compatible with MSI MYSTIC LIGHT SYNC, ASROCK POLYCHROME SYNC, ASUS AURA SYNC, and GIGABYTE RGB FUSION 2 software for coordinated light effects.
This water distribution plate comes with a powerful yet silent PWM-controlled D5 pump. The goal was to make a product with enough power to offer excellent reliability and outstanding performance with multiple blocks and radiators while keeping the noise down to a minimum. The D5 pump has been replaced with the latest G3 (Generation 3) variant. It comes with a SATA power connector, following the latest PC industry trend of a decreased use of 4-pin Molex cables.
EK-Matrix7 Support
Matrix7 standardizes the product's dimensions, including the port position and spacing, making liquid cooling loop assembly more intuitive and easier than ever. EK-Quantum Reflection² distro plates follow the EK-Matrix7 standard, seamlessly integrating with Vector² GPU water blocks and active backplates, and Quantum Surface radiators. This means you'll spend less time planning the loop and bending tubes, while the result will still be an epic build.

Reservoir:
This male push-in adapter fitting has a standard G1/4 male thread with an O-ring at one end, a knurled midsection, and a male push-in part with two O-rings at the other end. It is pushed directly into the distro plate without the need to be screwed in.It is available in 4 finishes - Black, Nickel, Satin Titanium, and Gold.
This adapter simplifies the process of attaching a radiator to the Reflection² distribution plate and reduces the strain needed to screw in the fittings, adding convenience and ease of use. This adapter is also critical for mounting the 420 mm radiators to this distro-plate.

5 Comments on EK Announces Reflection² Distro Plate for LIAN LI O11D EVO XL
I'm kind of sad the design of the new distroplate didn't include the ability to replace the front glass completely both making installation easier and providing structural support and potentially more compatibility inside the case with rad clearances. Also that would have made outside facing drain and fill ports more accessible instead of blocked by the glass.
Looking at the layout based on my experience with the 011D distroplate I suspect the drain and fill ports are too close to the outside edges of the distroplate including the bottom ports and top ports potentially providing clearance issues with rads and fittings hence the warning "Top: EK-Quantum Surface P420 (or even X420 with limited configurations)" I suppose it's a trade off for minimizing hard tubing bends but I feel it's like when they designed the distroplate they didn't bother with a hands-on prototype to figure out how to maximize the benefit of the distroplate ports and you end up with a bunch of tradeoffs instead and questions about how they came up with the port locations which was also one of my gripes with the Reflection for original 011D.
Another disappointment is the lack of flow indicator which I found pretty helpful in the original Reflection.
