MSI Titan 18 HX Will Be the World's First Laptop Featuring 18" 4K/120Hz Mini LED Display

The 4K/120 Hz Mini LED display on Titan 18 is powered by AmLED technology from AUO, which promises super-bright backlighting, decent HDR performance and wide-enough color gamut. This is the craziest thing I've ever read in a press release. Especially considering that press releases tend to hype up and oversell.
Imagine seeing a video ad that tries to make everything look badass, over the top, with rock music and all that stuff, whilst the person narrating the ad goes "decent HDR!"
And "wide-enough color gamut".
Like if they did that in a pick up truck commercial
Hell my new acer is 17" it's no big deal it's the screen diagonal after all just under 16"x12"
So many issues, from response-time to the backlight algorithm really not working and showing halos here and there.
I'd stay away from this tech in gaming. I'd pick a OLED screen for that albeit of course we have burn-in issues.
The future is micro-led anyways but it's decade away. Micro-led will combine the backlight power and longevity of LCD with the response-time, contrast and vibrance of OLED...but we are so far away from having it mainstream.
I'm using a 4K 32" screen for my desktop and it only comfortably goes up to 1440p. I wouldn't do 4K until about 40+ inches.
I'm exceptionally content with 1080p on a laptop. Maybe 1440p though that would be subjective.
Context: I am a productive member of society.
