Intel Releases Arc GPU Graphics Drivers 101.5445 WHQL

Intel released the latest version of Arc GPU Graphics Drivers. Released today is the 101.5445 WHQL, which is a minor update over the 101.5444 Beta drivers from last weekend. It comes with Game On optimization for "Manor Lords." It includes all the DirectX 11 game-specific performance uplifts referenced in the change-log of the 101.5444 Beta drivers, and its fixed issues; but fixes an additional issue on top—lower than expected performance with "A Plague Tale: Requiem." Grab the drivers from the link below.

Well, just meh, meh & more meh....

2 minor patches vs 17 KNOWN issues that need to be fixed, so, just like their miniscule gen-gen cpu performance increases, they seem to be using the piddly-diddly, when-we-get-around-to-it mode for GPU driver updates too :(

The version came with a firmware update as well that wasn't in 5444, I wish Intel would be able to upgrade firmware with out HDMI (and only HDMI) being plugged in.

All the driver releases will attempt to flash firmware during install regardless of the current versions on the card.

As for the current drivers there is no difference between them and 101.5444 and pcon (hdmi) firmware haven’t changed in ages.

it should also be noted only pcon updates require hdmi to be plugged in. The actual card firmware will flash regardless.

Interesting this is the first time the installer called out it couldn't update the firmware (or pcon?) and I am not aware of missing any drivers to install since I got the card. Thanks for the info.

Still no fix for the lack of enhanced barriers support needed for Forza Motorsport. 2 years in and Intel discontinued Iris Xe already. Classic.

5445 is essentially a WHQL version of 5444 (a beta which had a *bunch* of improvements) plus the couple of minor patches you mentioned.

So Intel's engineers have actually be very productive although there's still plenty more to do. However their ongoing and frequent updates are promising for their upcoming Battlemage hardware release. A very encouraging sign.

I'd join Intel's Forums and go in and complain, post logs/images/ect., if you haven't already.
