before GRAW 1 came out, the hype was like John Wayne coming back from the dead. massive hype & I was well looking forward to the game & I picked it up overseas (as I wasnt present at the time of release in the UK) everything looked amazing. they features & the game play looked totally awesome... boy was I dissipointed....after I installed it & played it online once or twice I never touched it again. even the single player campaigns I didnt touch. I attempted them tho but trying to control the whole team while in a gunfight with the enemy as well as ordering them to follow you etc just made the game seem a little way to complicated from Ghost Recon... Dont get me wrong, Im not saying that, that feature sucks but It would help that a bot have itleast some Ai rather then you having to order it about all the time.

Ive still yet to be convinced that GRAW 2 will be any different.

So its still Guildwars, BF2 & CSS for me until reviews start popping up

EastCoasthandlemp sucks IMO
I Second that...MP sucked alot.

Actually I dont think the the MP sucked its just the players that sucked. one of the main points about this game is being able to command & control a team. & because players are more rambo's then proper divide & Con-ker (I dont know how to spell it) getting them to stick together & work as a team instead of running off alone is like trying to make world hunger dissapear! its just not going to happen!

So really strong squad/team combat games arent too good online unless teams are proper organised as a proper team & briefed on the plans of game play so everyone knows what to do.

& seriously not everyone will want to hang around for that whole briefing crap they just want to get in there & kill things! which really defeats the whole Co-Op team/squad play system which GRAW was really meant to be about.

I know its a bad example but look at BF2....you can make your own squads but theres enough un squadded people around to still make the game fun & you dont ALWAYS have to be i a squad because even though its a team based game theres no 'strategic' emphasis on squad play.

Guess in a way you can obviously call GRAW a uber more intense game then BF2 but itleast ppl in BF2 are more capable of working together then having everyone in the team run off in their own directions....

So....
I blame lack of communication between players, when its such a strongly based squad game play
I blame lack of people who are experienced in squad based games
I blame peoples lack of patience & ability to stay in & with their teams
I blame Ubisoft for making the game a little more advanced then most common lackys can understand & care to handle (me included)

Id like to say that I love the game but seriously they gotta dumb it down for some or make it a 'total aniallation' game where teams wipe each other out defeating the emphasis of actually having to play & work strategically as a squad.

then again Ubisoft would probably say that the games up to standards its just that we as players are too dumb to fit the challenge!

That pretty much sums it up. As soon as you spawn people go in different directions and you get picked off real easy. There should be a demand to go to specific places first that way people have an idea of were to go first.

Movement feels like you are i some jelly, my fingers hurt in couple minutes as you try to push harder to make the guy move faster. So much stuff everywhere that you can't see anyone and peeps just camp somewhere and wait someone to walk/run by. Guns seems fine and graphics are ok, just so dark that everyone still on CRT will have a huge advantage.

Hate the fact that there is no spot command, you see a enemy and if he kills you, he will get to kill more, as no other in your team knows about him. Well just played team DM, maybe it's better if there where a squad and someone saying go somewhere.

Maybe I've just played too much BF2142 and I compare them too much. So why not a last comparison. At least in BF you know where someone is shooting by the sound of it, in this one there is no direction to sound and as you can't really see anything your blind with all senses.

Some other (non gray map) and maybe even gamemode might be better, have to try later. For now it's not bad, but not my favorite. Can't see my self playing this for hundreds of hours (like BF2142), not even tens.

I know exactly how u feel but unless they decide to introduce their own Ingame voice comms, MP in GRAW will always predominantly suck. there is just no way to control your team & even making basic squad commands will suck during gun fights. some sorta complex key combination to get the menu down & select what u want to do will get you killed rather then letting u order your team

If you don't want to give them commands all the time, just tell them to follow you. With the latest patches, they're AI has improve a good bit. Only have to tell them to take cover every now and then.

Sucks Big Time....

1) You cant use the OVERRIDE AA SETTINGS in the Nvidia Control panel cause the game wont work. ( Red cubes instead of Buildings )
2) Movement is worse than the Original GRAW.
3) Too dark and the terrain is Exactly the same colour as the GRAW camo thus making it even worse to fight.
4) Whoever has the less Graphics Options ON can fight Better than the ones with everything ON.
