ASUS Prepares X38 Express Motherboard
ASUS is finalizing its X38 Express based motherboard for shipping early next month. The upcoming P5E3 Deluxe supports all LGA775 socket processors, including the upcoming Penryn CPUs. The board only accepts DDR3 memory. ASUS opted to implement two PCIe x16 slots for ATI CrossFire multi-GPU support. The ASUS P5E3 Deluxe has three standard PCI slots. The P5E3 Deluxe also has two PCIe x1 slots. Other notable features of the P5E3 Deluxe include single IDE port, onboard high-definition audio, Gigabit Ethernet and six SATA 3.0 Gbps connectors. ASUS also employs a heat pipe cooling solution to cool the X38 Express. Expect the ASUS P5E3 Deluxe to show up in retail next month.

Unfortunately I don't want to go with DDR3 right now. Maybe there will be more options by the time these boards ship (read: 4GB kits).
Edit: nice board though
I didn't mean for 4 video cards, just that's there 4 usable slots even if there are two double-slot video cards.
I know some people would rather have the PCI slots uncovered - but I'd rather have more PCIe.
Btw, ddr3 only? I would think they're going to come out with a ddr2 version, but who knows.
