ya ive got a zen microphoto, i got it around the time that the original nano had came out. and i liked it more because it had a bigger hard drive and more features. its been real good to me, ive had it almost 2 years now and the only thing i havent liked about it was the battery life has dropped off but thats obviously understandable.

this is pretty nice though

Very nice, but flash is a step backwards from HDD players. My 30gb ipod video is full and I'm not upgrading until I get at least 60gb of space, whether it be flash or magnetic.

The resolution on this sucks considering the screens size my Samsung YP-T9 has the same resolution at 1.8 " so this screen is gonna look worse since the screens the same size as regular ipod video player. Creative i really thought you had a good player there for a second i really did seriosly though dont waste your time with this mp3 player go with the sAMSUNG yp-t9S THEIR MUCH better and have a just as good if not longer battery life. The only thing this has that the Samsung dont have is the Microsd slot which i can easily do without though it is a nice extra to have

Umm bud, the PSP is not only thicker but its also longer in length and width. Fact is its bigger over all. You might just think that because of the resized picture and the fact its black.

To the contrary, I have always liked ZEN players.
I do not think this one is actually the best what they could come up with.
Look up this comparison:
www.creative.com/products/comparechart/comparechart.asp
They have a model with USB host already - why was this not implemented here?

But I am impressed by the design and weight of this player. In fact I do not believe you can squeeze 16 gig in 65 gram (and that is with casing, LCD, FM tuner)

they look pretty cool, and i like the fact it plays more formats than the ipod nano, the 16gb one probably costs too much though, but if the 8gb one is reasonably priced i may well pick one off

LoL, a Zune Ripoff. Enough with the 320x240 screens.... and enough with the non-widescreen screens..... For fucks sake, this is the future! According to the Movie, Back to the Future, we're supposed to have flying cars by 2015!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a lot smaller than Zunes, even the Ipod. It's only 55 x 83 x 11.3 mm

30gb ipod video is 60.96 x 104.14 x 10.922 mm. Zune is 60.96 x 111.76 x 14.732 mm

8gb ipod nano is $250. You get much larger screen and video capabilities here. Good deal for a flash player.

I would never buy a nano; that isn't a good comparison.

I would not go for 16gb version at the current pricing. But I am tempted to get 8GB version and later, once the SD cards prices drop, I could get a 32 GB SD/SDHC card.
Flash is much safer then hard drive you appreciate this once you suffer a hard drive failure.
