ATI Radeon HD 3800 Series Specs, Photos and Logos
The title says it all. ATI Radeon HD 3870, the one on the second picture will feature 825MHz core and 2400MHz memory clocks, DirectX 10.1 support, and PCI-e 2.0 technology. ATI Radeon HD 2850 on the third picture will be clocked at 700MHz/1800MHz core/memory with DirectX 10.1 support and PCI-e 2.0. Both cards will feature 55nm manufactured graphics processing unit (GPU).

heh i just bought a hd2600xt gddr4 , figures its only a dx10.0 card
even tho id like to upgrade again tothe new ati line dx10.1 card because of the new PhysX being built into Ati cards (crossfire of course)

Calling a card 3xxx without major difference between to the 2xxx is just dope!

this things are nice, but for me, and I think many of you would "3xxx" mean "R700"
My opinion!
But whatever it's going to be called, it's good news nonetheless. The HD2850 interests me since it will actually fit in my case. If this comes out in time for Christmas, I'd be happy.
Frankly, I don't know where they want to get with this, what's next AMD? PR numbers like you use for your processors? Radeon 4000+ anyone?? :shadedshu
Need to remember that the R600 has cost them so much and probably need to use it more to make enough money to actually do some thing new..
I just hope they make it.
And any ps 3.0 card can accelerate Havok FX.
